Charitie Carpenter is a Special Education Advocate and the Founder of My Family Connection, where she focuses on supporting families navigating the special education process. Her work centers on IEP and 504 advocacy, helping parents understand educational rights, prepare for school meetings, communicate effectively with school teams, and secure appropriate supports and services for their children.

Charitie has extensive experience working alongside families facing academic, behavioral, and disability-related challenges within the school system. She is known for her practical, family-centered approach and her ability to break down complex educational processes into clear, actionable steps. Her advocacy emphasizes collaboration, preparation, and empowering families to participate confidently in educational decision-making.

Through My Family Connection, Charitie provides individualized advocacy support, meeting preparation, document review, parent education, and guidance throughout the IEP process. She also develops workshops and community resources focused on helping families better understand special education systems and supports.

Prior to founding My Family Connection, Charitie worked in school-based family engagement and student support roles, building strong experience in educational advocacy and family systems.
