Bonnie Klein is a Special Education Paralegal, bringing a unique combination of advocacy, education, mediation, and corporate leadership experience to her work with attorneys, families, and educational teams.

As the founder of Sierra Special Education Advocacy, Bonnie has supported families across a broad range of special education matters, including evaluations, IEP development, placement disputes, compensatory education, and dispute resolution. She is known for her ability to analyze complex educational records, identify underlying issues, and develop practical strategies that help move difficult matters toward resolution.

Bonnie serves as a Training Instructor for the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA) Special Education Advocate Training (SEAT) program, where she provides instruction, mentorship, and case-analysis guidance to advocates nationwide. She has also worked alongside attorneys in the review of special education cases. Bonnie completed mediation training through the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law’s Saltman Center for Conflict Resolution and currently participates in a court-connected mediation mentorship program, gaining practical experience observing and analyzing dispute-resolution proceedings.

Prior to her work in special education, Bonnie spent ten years in marketing and brand management, leading teams, managing complex projects, and driving strategic initiatives. That experience continues to inform her analytical, solution-oriented approach to advocacy, negotiation, and problem solving.
